Community Tasting Notes 1

March 6, 2010 - We were fascinated to try a PN produced by one of the world's greatest white wine makers. The wine was elegant and pretty, a scent of strawberries on the nose. It has the minerality and acidity you would expect from a white wine climate, but is not as "thin" as you would expect. If I had blind tasted it, I might have concluded it was a well made young Oregon pinot being produced in a more Burgundian style (where the fruit is not so strongly expressed).
