July 22, 2020 - I was surprised and somewhat disappointed by this bottle. I was expecting a vibrant and acidic gruner, which one normally enjoys with this varietal. Instead it was more like a chardonnay. It tasted fine, but it didn't pair well with the fish I'd prepared. Schade.

January 3, 2020 - Had this one in both Zalto Burgundy and Zalto Universal
The wine is good but also kind of all over the place , maybe it will need some time to get settled.
Well on the nose there is a lovely scent of watermelon - ripe pear - and some notes from white pepper....on the palate it starts out shy -fresh , and then turns into something that would be mistaken for very high alcohol level which it does not have ( its 12,5 if memory serves me right ) fades into refreshing but at the same time big and bolder with notes all over the place. Its okay but for my liking not sure.
