January 23, 2023 - As other reviewers mentioned this has a bright acid which may slightly overpower the tannins. But since I like the acid kick I enjoyed this wine. Has a slightly bitter finish this wine is known for. Cherry pipe tobacco, plum and dried cranberries. Fruit forward but not sweet. Medium bodied. I opened it for dinner on a cold night when I was serving chili. I believe this is a good pizza wine as others have said but it’s also a great complement to chili.

October 27, 2021 - Very versatile and inexpensive Italian red. Nice acidity, good balance, but inexpensively made. Good pizza wine or a good, crowd pleasing red. Not much more than that.
