September 9, 2023 - We started the night with this awesome Brunello Di Montalcino after pouring it in six glasses 45 minutes before arrival of guests. However, the first pour tasting was tannic and bitter on the finish, than the first sip after 45 minutes. No one had a negative comment, just the opposite. It was a hit. The old world vino night was on!

Men fint potentiale.

March 17, 2021 - Wine Wednesday - Mixed Bag (Grapes & Grains, Temecula, CA): We decanted 4+ hours before being served, which is always a good idea for a young Brunello. While not the most powerful or concentrated of Brunellos or modern in style, this 100% Sangiovese shows the delicate balance that makes the 2015 vintage special. Bold plum and black cherry fruit intertwined with dried herb, roasted espresso, and violets are well supported by dusty tannins, tart acidity, and a contemplative finish.

May 21, 2020 - PnP. Something of a disappointment on the heels of their lovely 2013 efforts. Plenty of chocolate, coffee bean, some black truffle, dark berry fruit. Not interesting for my palate, others will love it. Drink now and the next several years.
