August 17, 2022 - The 55 Villemaurine has remained characterful and fresh all these years. If not terribly complex, it shows an appealing, predominantly black fruit and carob nose, accented by an old leather note. A great example of the staying power of well-kept bottles from modest estates in great vintages.
