  December 19, 2023 - I coravined a glass and tasted a little too quickly. But after 90 minutes in the glass the wine settled in. The color is medium or slightly lighter. The nose is really nice delicate strawberries. Also some floral notes. I don’t smell much earthy tones. Tasting is medium body, acid medium low , tannic medium, nice tannins. The taste reinforces the nose. Good fruit and a bit vegetal. Nothing too deep like tobacco or earth or leather. I do think the alcohol (14.9) lingers at the finish just a touch more than I want. I think it will continue to open up while I sip it with home made lasagna. Should pair nicely. Not an award winning Sangiovese but solid for pairing with food. Will be interested how other bottles of same vintage more time.

  September 23, 2023 - Cherry nose, with a hint of plum. Pinot-like in appearance, but the flavor is nearly full-bodied. Long finish.

  November 18, 2020 - I used to love their Sangio, but this is thin, uninspiring, supermarket wine, at best. Even the color is extremely light. Tasting blind, I'd put it at a $15 bottle. Very sad that I bought 6 of these. Holidays are coming. Maybe good for white elephant gifts.
