Rien à voir avec la bouteille bue l’an passé : celle-ci offrait un équilibre remarquable, beaucoup de mineraité et de tension, là où la précédente affichait une certaine lourdeur.
Réjouissant de voir comment Gonon transforme le millésime cette fois-ci, quelle finesse!
Les marqueurs rhodaniens, acacias, épices, subtile vanille, étaient présents, en pureté, en précision, en tension.
Ce blanc de 5 ans offre en définitive une insolente jeunesse et va sans doute se complexifier avec le temps.1 person found this helpful Comment -

March 10, 2023 - Maybe my expectations were too high but A little disappointing. The red from Gonon is so good but the white feels a bit over ripe. Might need to have decanted longer but alcohol was overpowering.

October 14, 2022 - Smokey, spicey, a real Northern Rhône white with some richesse, almonds, citrus and good precision. Still very young.

September 28, 2022 - Du gras de l’alcool il a tout pour être ennuyeux… mais il évite l’écueil avec son nez pur et rhodanien, épicé, acacias, prune, miel… la bouche grasse, visqueuse est relayée par la finale saline d’un terroir qui me rappelle immanquablement les 2003 sortis du bois en 2012/14 lors d’un passage au domaine, bu à l’aveugle, à l’équilibre magistral !
S’il devait être lourdingue jeune, il semble s’équilibrer à ce stade, je veux bien mettre un billet d’ici 2 ans ou 3… histoire que l’alcool se cale un peu -
