  September 10, 2020 - First wine I taste from Tenerife, a volcanic island, sold here in Singapore by WEA. Medium purple Color, a bit cloudy. Cherry, smoke and sulphur on the nose. Med+ acidity, Med body, Med alcohol, Med flavor intensity, Med tannins, Med+ finish. A lot of fruit, cherries, vegetal notes, sulphuric under tone and notes, I quite like this and this certainly will evolve further. Good balance and structure. Looking forward to the second bottle in 1 or 2 years. Interesting!

  April 1, 2020 - Pop and pour into a decanter. In the glass, clear red at the rim, shading to opaque red/purple at the core. On the nose, for lack of a better descriptor - burning stone. Not sulfurous, not funk, but it is quite strong. On the palate, a bit of currant and strawberry lead the way, but that burning stone translates to pronounced minerality on the palate. I don't think this wine is flawed at all; it definitely conveys a strong sense of place. But this is definitely an acquired taste, and I'm not sure it's for me.
