Community Tasting Notes 1

October 1, 2023 - Red and black fruited scents, expressive already, with a whiff of spices, cedar box, and fresh turned earth, followed by powerfull black and red fruited flavors that display grip and lenght on the racy finish. After a couple of hours of air, more power came to the fore and sneaked back on my buds, chambertin power on display. 2018 is a great year in Gevrey, the clay inflected soils retained a good amount of water during the hot summer, rendering concentrated but bright wines. Drink this beauty after a couple of hours of air or hold for another 5 years.
