December 4, 2023 - 91 pts for the age, probably would've been 88-89 blind.
Started out with chocolate hiding some red cherry fruit. The fruit came out a bit more as the wine opened up. Some caramel and something else I couldn't quite pick out. One of our group noted it really shined with the beef bourgouignon prepared by our host. -

October 31, 2023 - Lovely color, a mixture of medium bricking on the edges with a dark core of deep red fruit in the middle. Well balanced all around. Fully tertiary flavors: leather, earth, spice box, dried flowers/herbs. Medium- body, a little lighter than expected. Enjoyable with rustic Italian dinner.
