March 27, 2024 - Ready to drink, lovely plush black berry fruit with balancing acidity. Nice fresh blackcurrant element to this, reminiscent of their Purple Angel carmenère. Similar in style to some high end Barossa shiraz (e.g. the Standish line up). I think I prefer this due to the blackcurrant. Agree with the review below about alcohol heat poking out a little (15%), but I can handle that.

March 5, 2023 - Oinorama Wine Fair 2023; 3/4/2023-3/6/2023 (Zappeio): Beautiful, fragrant, black fruit, cherries, whole spice, thick oak frame, nitty, density. In the palate, the wine show full ripe purple and black fruit, spicy and earthy, overly alcohol heat (15%)

December 18, 2022 - Deep and robust, but balanced and not overpowering with notes of dried herb and black pepper.

April 10, 2022 - Terrific example of how good Syrah can be. Full
Bodied with lots of grip without any harshness.

March 21, 2022 - Violet Ruby with purple edges and deep opacity. Nose was black fruit, jammy with licorice and spices. On the palate it is strong round chalky tannins. The fruit was intense, dark, balanced (lifting acidity) and pure. It was full bodied with good length.
