April 14, 2024 - Earth over fruit. Good grip with elevated acid. A complex wine pairing well with ribeye and sauteed shrooms. Definitely making its exit. Held together nicely as the night went on resulting in a good to the last drop situation.

March 19, 2012 - Modern and flashy with lots of smoky oak complicating the subtle red and black fruit flavors. Succulent, round, and fleshy on the palate with very ripe tannin, medium+ body and medium acid.
