April 28, 2023 - This has reached a beautiful point in its development - plum, cherry, funk, with bright acidity and well integrated tannins. Light in color but deep in flavor and body. Quite special.

January 20, 2022 - Recent notes on point. Really fascinating wine. I blinded my wife and she guessed an aged cru bojo or a musar, which I think is (in combination) exactly right. Decanting required.

December 22, 2021 - The other reviews on CT for this unusual wine have summed it up well - interesting nose with funky notes, sour cherry, plum and leather. Tasting reveals more of the same plus a some good acidity and tannin. Deceptively complex in that one might be tempted to classify this as thin in body but there is a lot there to mull over after a few sips. Not a ‘crowd pleaser’ but certainly worth trying for its unusual profile. Give it some air before drinking.

March 10, 2021 - Slightly turbid. Noticeable VA (not at all out of place considering Bea). Powerful notes of cherry, stone fruits (apricot and peach), and cool, damp forest earth. Medium tannins and high acid. The finish is wild and satisfying. If my previous experience with this vintage was the reference, this was not quite as impressive as it was and based on the challenges of the 2014 vintage, probably time to drink and enjoy!
