Community Tasting Notes 1

From 6 small plots near the village. Maximum 25% new oak. Wants to reflect the vintage. No herbicides. Expensive corks.
2020: dark red. Nose is dark fruit and juniper. So concentrated, jam packed with texture, tannin and acid. Spicy. Benoit suggests this will age a very long time.
2019: Medium red. Nose is red to dark fruit, exotic spice nose (cardomon?) Fruit is sweet on palate, tannin is more obvious than 2020 but probably due to less body. Is this spice from oak?
2018: Medium red colour. Red fruit nose, a kiss of exotic spice, caramel. This is medium body and medium concentration. Compact and energetic.
