  October 16, 2021 - Medium purple, fading to a watery rim.
  
  Medium intense nose of violets, saddle leather, wet asphalt, soil, followed by plum.
  
  On the palate more violet and plum, followed by a nice mineral quality.
  
  Medium alcohol, medium+ body, medium acidity. Medium length finish.
  
  This is a fun new world Syrah with finesse. The field blend with Viognier brings the floral violet notes and brings lift to the rich Syrah. Great stuff.

  January 31, 2021 - Interesting, a little different than other paraduxx blends. Dark color, the nose doesn’t give too many hints, it’s light fruit in the nose and not too much more. Then the palette is restrained in the fruit department, with leather , meat, and olive. Just a touch hot. Medium finish. I like this one with food.

  February 28, 2020 - Deep purplish ruby red. Dark nose with black olives, cinnamon, a touch savory and black currants. Medium tannins (6.5/10) with a medium plus to full body. Quite a bit savory with dark red berries, earthiness, leather and a hint of spiced herbs. Medium to medium plus finish. A bit young. Drink from 2021 till 2028.
