April 20, 2024 - Armand Rousseau Dinner: Pronounced nose intensity with notes of flora, violet, red cherry, strawberry. Medium+ acidity and medium tannin. Long finish. Aeration in the bottle around 4 hours.

    February 20, 2023 - Rousseau Charmes-Chambertin 2018.
Noe lukket, men likevel flott nese med nydelig parfyme.
    Smooth munnfølelse.
Ganske så deilig frukt - fremstår relativt kjølig i en så varm årgang.
    Fint løft.
    Konsentrert med fin balanse.
Litt barnerov her, men mye nytelse nå.
Silkeføre i utgangen med et pent bitt.
    Sitter lenge. 92-93p

November 13, 2021 - Opulent black fruit with extant new oak. Rich but with enough freshness of fruit and brightness of acidity to retain vibrancy. Don't drink before 2030. (2/3 Mazoyères, 1/3 Charmes)

November 9, 2021 - Travels in Burgundy... A Few Wines During Meals; 11/7/2021-11/12/2021 (Burgundy): Clearly opulent and flashy black fruit with very good weight, and certainly enough structure to retain its vibrancy and brightness. Not even close to the balance and elegance that will emerge 2028 forward.

July 9, 2021 - 2018 red Burgundy tasting (Freiheit Vinothek, Ulm, Germany): *** all wines decanted 1-2h before and tasted double blind ***
    Glass: Zalto Burgundy
Clear, deep ruby color. Fine, lactic nose, some floral notes, fine red fruit. Very elegant.
High acidity, high, fine tannin. Very juicy, lots of fine warm red fruit, some lactic notes. Very elegant, wonderful balance. Already very open and joyful to drink. Long, lingering finish. Beautiful wine! Potential is hard for me as it is already so open. 93-94+
