Community Tasting Notes 2

December 24, 2007 - Well, this was not dead, but not very alive either… Cork in perfect shape. Lovely color: ruby with hardly any bricking. Nose of dirt earth and some funk. Smooth, medium bodied (12% alc), good acitity. Nothing too great, but a nice mature smooth claret which was after all older than everyone in the room.

April 15, 2007 - Perfectly mature claret – a good showing. Smooth and integrated, if a bit short on the finish. Not special, but a lovely drink - better than the 1996 tasted last week. (89)
