  July 19, 2023 - Drank over 3 days. Best on day 3. First day was a bit jarring, with my palate not used to such restraint in a wine. By day 3 we were in a harmonious bliss! Wow what a difference. Such an enjoyable wine. Fresh, crunchy cranberries, minerals and the exact opposite of most in your face monster Cali wines.
  
  Since this was my last glass on day 3, popped a nice RR Pinot afterwards to go with salmon dinner, and wham, fruit and heaviness hit my palate hard, making it difficult to ingest the syrup. Makes me strongly reconsider future wine purchases…

  February 16, 2022 - Popped and poured. Medium translucent ruby color. Very bright and red fruited on the nose with some red plum, cherry, raspberry, along with some light floral notes. Similar flavors on the palate with no real evidence of oak. Medium+ acid, medium tannin and medium bodied at best. Very juicy and fresh with sub 13% abv. I would not have pegged this for a California Merlot if served blind but definitely made in a style I prefer.
