August 23, 2021 - Wildcard Wines - Tiplers Blind Tasting Group; 8/23/2021-8/24/2021 (Grapes & Grains, Temecula, CA): Tasted blind. Correctly identified as Sonoma Pinot Noir.

Elevated-to-pronounced aromatic intensity featuring floral, strawberry, cherry, spice, and a touch of green stems and clove. While lighter-bodied on the palate, a lively, fresh acidity gives the wine a lift to the cherry-cranberry fruit. Enjoyed this the most directly after opening. As the tasting progressed, it seemed to pick up a mild pyrazine and bitter tea note to the finish.

April 3, 2021 - This producer gets more and more interesting. Their wine reminds me why I enjoy pinot so much, especially the individuality of winemakers and sites. This entry level wine is a blend of wines from the single vineyard barrels. Wonderful Sonoma Coast characteristics-raspberry, tart cherry, minerality/salinity, mouthfilling for a wine so light ruby in color. Complexity with fruit, spice, nice structure/medium acid, low tannin and an extended finish.

May 21, 2020 - Very fine entry-level Sonoma Coast PN. Medium ruby red color. This wine sings with its minerality and cherry, raspberry fruits. Beautifully balanced structure and and extended finish. This is a producer to watch.
