    October 8, 2023 - Little CO2.

March 4, 2023 - Powerful wine. Bracing acidity, which might be perceived as fizziness as some have noted (but no actual fizziness in this bottle), medium tannins. Started out on the fruity side (40 min decant) and kept opening up over the next hour. Later notes included oak, plum, darker fruits, and some kind of savory spice (ancho pepper??). Amazing concentration overall.

November 21, 2022 - Fruitcake in a class. Christmas port without sugar. Luxurious, warming, overblown but enticing. Not for the table but by the fire after a beautiful meal.

June 25, 2022 - Very fizzy - tasted like a Lambrusco when we opened it. Gave it some time and it didn't get better. We'll report back on the second bottle...

April 10, 2022 - PNP- hint of effervescence and odd smell.

Decant, back into the bottle with 2 vigorous Molly Dooker shakes, and 3 hours worked wonders. Still not my thing with bright red fruit, spice, and a sense of heat. Better on day 2, but still heady stuff.
