May 24, 2022 - This wine is drinking very well, though I didn't treat it that way...I hadn't planned what wine to have with dinner, grabbed this one from the cellar last minute. Very well balanced, even without a decant. Complex mineral overtones and pleasant fruit.

August 1, 2021 - Enjoyed two bottles with the Quivet Neck Homeowners' Association. Great fruit and slight pepper. Aired all day in a decanter before drinking. 1st 2018, great bottle!

April 17, 2021 - 8 months later, a more savory presentation. Red and black fruits, pepper, tapanade. Medicinal quality is gone has lost a little freshness.

March 1, 2021 - Consistently solid with peppery notes on the palette. On the nose I get a fruit forward strawberry rhubarb note. In the glass it’s a dark plum with medium viscosity.

August 23, 2020 - Red and black fruits, lots of pepper, spice, bacon fat. Some fruit heavy Syrah can taste a bit medicinal to me, but this has nice balance with the acidity. Very primal at present
