  September 29, 2023 - Decanted. Brilliant, deep black-garnet color. Lively aromas of red currant & blackberry fruit, with secondary new cedar, black tea, pipe tobacco, violets, and allspice berry. Vivid intensity on the palate, showing perfectly ripe, succulent red and black fruit, adding flourishes of paprika and anise to the aforementioned secondary notes, expressing broadly over a refined dense core. Excellent tension and lift, finishing with fine ripe tannins and lengthy concentration.

  August 20, 2022 - Big wine with lots of black fruit. Decanted for 3hrs but still too young. Approachable but needs another 2-3 years at least.
