  March 2, 2024 - Decanted a portion with stir and it opened within 30 min. Vacuvin’d the rest and similar results on day 2 and 3. Deep ruby and purple color. Light rose, leather, and a hint of black cherry on the nose. Dusty cherry, leather, earth on the palate with 30-35 sec finish. Strong mouth puckering acidity and moderate amount of sediment. Pairs decently with tomato-based pasta sauce, pizza, etc.. My first dolcetto.

  October 28, 2022 - Est-ce l'effet millésime, ou le talent du producteur? Ce dolcetto est ambitieux, un nez gorgé de fruits noirs avec le côté typiquement herbacé/amande amère propre au cépage, mais parfaitement sous contrôle. La bouche est pleine, et devient super gourmande après aération. On l'a bu 3/4 ans trop tôt sans doute, mais c'est super bon (91+)

  September 27, 2022 - More ready to go than the 2018. Really juicy. Dark fruited. Minty with a touch of cedar smoke. Sublime.

  February 17, 2022 - A private dinner (Restaurant Bussia, Amsterdam, NL): Firm tannic structure - nothing wishy-washy about this! Fresh and minerally, roses and cherries, hint of almond, bright and lively but thoroughly serious. Needs time. Drink 2024-2029.

  December 23, 2021 - Cherry, raspberry, forest floor. Delicious and more complexity than you'd expect from a wine of this age. Good!
