August 24, 2023 - This had a lot of bottle funk upon opening. I almost thought it was cooked or damaged, but it transformed with some air. So… decant! Very dark garnet in the glass - looks like a cab. Dark fruit and dust on the nose, medium intensity. Full bodied and savory on the palate, iodine, dark fruit. Spicy finish of some length. Calif style Pinot Noir.
