August 29, 2021 - Really nice blend. Deep red color, licorice and chocolate notes. Finish was shorter than I remember, but may improve with time

February 25, 2021 - Virtual tasting with proprietor Jim Bean. Limited intensity and not overly expressive. Having this next to the 2016, a cooler type of fruit, herbaceous, but more of the freshly cut grass kind and couldn't quite ignore a bit of greenish sting. Also felt a bit unripe on the palate. Jim Bean thinks this could come around and drink just as well as the 2011 and 2012 vintages in Bordeaux do today. Could well be, but as of today not even close to the 2016.
