November 24, 2019 - Very dark red with out much maturity on the edge. The nose showed dark red fruit with significant spice and oak. The flavour profile is rich, with a some caramel, earthy, spicy and decent length. t would be difficult to pick this as a pinot noir in a blind tasting. Still very enjoyable!

October 30, 2017 - Subsequent notes on this wine from three years ago. Deep ruby red in color. Full, fragrant & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of black cherries, strawberries & blueberries with overtones of spice notes of cloves & cinnamon, earthy/dusty, minty, some cola notes & a hint of vanilla in the background. Medium to medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, plush, ripe flavors of sweet dark cherries, strawberries & tart cranberries with spices, cherry cola, some herbs, earthy & a touch of vanilla. Lingering smooth finish. Drinks quite well at present & at 12 years of age is close to or at its peak of development. Any further development with additional aging may be minimal.
