December 20, 2023 - Plum nose, dark berry fruit, soft tannins, medium body, very long finish with lots of acid.

December 15, 2023 - Big bold style Merlot exemplifying mountain fruit character with plenty of depth and concentration of fruit along with medium tannins on the finish.

April 1, 2023 - Similar to my previous note. Requires at least some air for optimal pleasure.

December 29, 2022 - POP-BLACKAF- Meaty, blueberry, violets, purple, and tannins are definitely present.. Low notes meaty, high notes are 14 hands' low notes. Short while later It opened up and air has cut into meatiness and changed tannins to existent but muted but drying still and less purple. Purple is a taste& think about how purple tastes -that's what purple tastes like. Violets are still there, but not a main player. I am thinking red meat and blueberry, with some drying tannins and big bodied. It's not my favorite Merlot ever, but it has more going on than my favorite does. Well deserved high-ish score and second tasting and score update tomorrow. Also BTW ambition probably made me open this too early. Big body, inky and dark acidity on second taste. Violets and huge everything on the palate you'd expect from a Merlot. The meaty is now inky, and it still has drying tannins. INKY, and gravel creeping in.
Raised the score to a 92 not because of personal preference, but because of its essence.
Based on the other reviews, it has tannins but merlot tannins not Cabernet tannins. This one also probably could sit for a few more years and evolve, too bad this is my only bottle.

December 21, 2022 - PnP. Maybe a hair young, even for me. Blueberry, blackberry, cassis. Tannic. 90+
