May 9, 2013 - P n P. Dark red upon opening. Nose of red n black fruit. Nice n big paso Syrah. A bit edgy on day one, softened up and was more enjoyable on day 2. Still have an 06, 07 in cellar..

November 17, 2011 - deep, dark, & thick..Very smooth and doesn't have the overt spice that is associated with syrahs. Vanilla is present, along with a subtle oak. I decanted this one and my second glass is better than the first. As of this review(this moment!), I still have approximately half the bottle, in the decanter.

The body is reminiscent of a 100% Cab from Napa. The balance shows in the nose and and in the back of the tongue. Could last a few more years, but I think RIGHT NOW is the prime. I have a another bottle, so we'll see..

November 2, 2011 - We drank a 3L bottle of this Syrah, and it was outstanding! Deep, dark ruby color was classic Syrah and the nose was phenomenal - rich, spicy with dark blackcurrent. The palate was warm, smooth and richly complex with a finish that went on and on. All round, a great wine which is drinking great right now and will last a few more years too.
