  June 12, 2022 - This was a Wine Society Cellar Plan. It's a really poor wine. nose is ok, but it's bitter, tannic and very short. Really disappointing

  July 11, 2021 - Showing signs of maturity and drinking well. Amber rim, deep but softened black fruits. Bit of a tannic kick. Excellent in the garden with a steak.

  November 4, 2019 - When first opened, nothing on the nose. It's still very deep and dark. First impressions are just wood on the palate, no fruit. It took a few hours to open up. Then the plums and pungency come through. There's even a bit of perfume on the nose. Just a hint of tannin left.

  September 7, 2019 - 3 years since last bottle. The tannin's gone but so has some of the fruit, as has the nose. Still clearly a claret. Still good but losing its punch. One to have with red meats.

  January 12, 2019 - Much better than prior bottle. Concentrated plum fruit, fairly dense thru the palate. Secondary notes present.
