    March 24, 2021 - Interesting, in a good way.
Extremely light straw, almost colorless. Peach and grapefruit nose. Citrus and stone fruit notes on the palate. Good body, long finish. Quite impressive fir such an unheralded varietal.

February 4, 2021 - Lovely floral and aromatic nose like riesling, sylvaner, and muscat had a tryst and begat this lovely, intriguing, and refreshing progeny. It's bright, detailed, clean and refreshing with bright yet balanced acidity, lovely florals, fruit and sense of soil. The fruit leans toward citrus, pear, and peach pit. I suspect this is technically dry or near dry, but the fresh fruit gives it a sense of a feinherb level of sweetness. Regardless of its technical numbers of RS, this sits right where I would want it to be. Light weighted and graceful, yet with focus and intensity. Very interesting and very enjoyable. Finishes simultaneously long yet clean with a mouthwatering more-ish feel with lovely floral and muscat like perfume. Its not the most profound wine, but it hits the spot for a joyful refreshing glass of wine and is a terrific bargain to boot. Love it.

    January 3, 2021 - Day-1 = 88
    Day-2 = 88
Pale lemon with legs quickly turning to droplets on the glass. Diamond clearness.
It is clean with a medium intensity. Pine needles overpower the beginning and then fade to tones of cannabis, minerality and lemon. There is also a hint of campfire and vanilla.
The palate shows off-dry, high acid, medium body with lemon zest and grapefruit upfront and heat alcohol on the way down. Slight petrol and switchgrass...
Finish = 22seconds, the blast of tart fruit, fading quickly, indicates youth
Tasted with a NY brie-style cheese and cacao infused shortbread. It went very well with these on their own but not very good when all combined. Also tried it with a NY Gouda/Cheddar/Truffle chees but this was not a very good complement to the Rkatsiteli.
This is an interesting varietal, apparently the oldest in the world, that is reminiscent of a French Chenin Blanc.

November 24, 2020 - High, high, bright acidity, sharp zesty peach, pear, and lime. A bit of a spicy and floral ending which reminds me of muscat. Minerality is present and balances the acidity enough that the wine is not tart.

I drink this after a run of Rketsiteli from Georgia in the past 2 weeks (which I will log eventually). In comparison to those, this is lower in minerality which gives those a thickening, saline quality. However this is much more floral, and has a bit more of a delicate touch than those had. Don't get me wrong, there is mineral here, and a touch of brine lingers on the tongue after the swallow, playful with the fruit and acidity, but the mineral in the Georgian wines was something else. This wine is immensely enjoyable.

November 5, 2020 - Another terrific wine from a terrific winery. First time trying this grape. Full fruit on the nose. Very complex on the palate. Dry but not bone dry. Simply delicious and easy to drink. Would buy again.
