Community Tasting Notes 1

May 27, 2021 - Despite a complicated shipping situation, this bottle seems to be in perfect shape and really is delicious right now. Dark in color with a nose of concentrated ripe blackberries and espresso, linden flowers. Rich with a dominating petit Syrah flavor, touch of Syrah brings a sweet pastille effect on the midpalate, but in a distinct way: the perceptions of the wine is that it is dry, and that sweet note simply hangs there in isolation. Very interesting to taste.

I like this more than the vendange entiere at this stage.
