December 5, 2022 - There is some amazingly fresh and juicy fruit in this elegant young DuMol PN. Medium-ruby in the glass. Beguilingly perfumed palate. Fresh black cherries, forest raspberries, violets, distinct bitter sweetness from blood orange and grapefruit is accented by notes of earth and smoke. Beautiful silky density on the medium-bodied palate, rich, fruit-driven, lively yet balanced elegance. V impressive in terms of substance and length. Slam-dunk for DuMol & Andy Smith! Should age effortlessly for 5+ years.

October 27, 2022 - Similar tasting note to previous bottle, but perhaps a bit closed and less vibrant.

May 28, 2022 - After 20 minutes in the glass and a good swirl, this has a knockout nose with incredible fruit purity. The start and middle of this wine are in great balance, but the tannin on the finish has a firm grip. This will warrant a higher score with more time in the cellar. Maybe give it 2-3 more years to soften?
