  August 9, 2023 - Complex Nose - dark cherries and blackberry with spicy notes. On the palette the acidity is medium with some medicinal notes. Nice finish

  March 28, 2023 - This has settled down some and is drinking well now with some air time. Cherries and strawberries with some herbs and a hint of tar. Tannins quite well integrated and just enough acid to give it structure. Love the xinomavro varietal and this is a good one at a very low price!

  October 24, 2022 - The grape and producer are new to me: This is a very tasty, low-key wine, with a slight astringency that I associate with some Italian wines, and a leanness without acidity. If I had been tasting it blind, I probably would have guessed Rhone. It was a very effective backdrop for a challenging meal, a variety of spicy Indian vegetable curries. The bottle was drained quickly.
