October 13, 2023 - Very interesting and earthy wine. First try if a Douro. Opaque, ruby color. Has mild tannins, some red fruit and little acidity.

I would have it with a mildly spiced meat or kebab

November 23, 2022 - Purchased for $14. Translucent ruby to violet. Lots of red fruits, cherry, raspberry, strawberry. Some slightly sweet spice plays nice harmony and there's some fresh acidity that leaves your palate watering. But there's just something a little thin here that throws me a bit. Like a thin cranberry streak. Grade: B+

November 5, 2021 - D+0h: no deposit in the filter nor in the bottle, smells of blackberry and raspberry D+5h: dark as ink, smells of blackberry and smoke, smooth in the mouth, medium body, dry, but not in a tart way, in the mouth blackberry, raspberry and smoke, in the aftertaste blackberry, raspberry and acidity, good length (30 sec), good Douro red (the next time I won’t decant it for five hours, three to four hours are enough).

November 20, 2020 - Zoom tasting, wines of Spain & Portugal, hosted by Auriol Wines, Hampshire, UK. Damson colour. Rich nose, dark berry fruits, charcoal, woody, some oak showing. The palate is somewhat port like, blackcurrant, spicy. Quite good.
