  May 1, 2024 - Much better developed than my previous bottle. Translucent garnet color with a hint of color shift toward brown, starting to show age. Scents of dried red cherries, leather, and sweet tobacco. Very nice bouquet. These notes carry over to the palate, and in addition I found notes of clove and clay pot. Still at the finish is a sour cherry note, not strong but noticeable. Overall, it feels mature with enough freshness remaining to keep it interesting. I'm back on board with this one. Not bad at all. Fun change of pace.

  March 18, 2024 - Rose, truffle, earth, tart cherry, orange peel-like acidity. Structured and robustly tannic, but smooths out somewhat with a couple hours of air. Consistent with the last time I tried this and while not the most refined of Baroli, totally convincing and should have another 10+ years ahead. Wish this wasn’t my last bottle.

  October 30, 2023 - Not a spectacular bottle of wine but a decent easy drinking Barolo for a really low price is pretty nice.

  August 17, 2023 - Solid Nebbiolo. Drinking at the lower range of Baroli yet delivering a great value. This should hold for ten years easily, but enjoyable now as well.

  January 22, 2023 - Decent stuff. Black cherries and earth. Lovely tannins and well balanced.
