This is bold and refined at the same time and totally enjoyable right now. -

August 19, 2021 - As it is still young to drink, decided to decant it for 30mins before the dinner starts. Deep ruby red in color. Nose: Dark fruit with faint hint of green tea. Smooth, full bodied, balanced, fresh fruit 'napa cabsav'palate which i love. Medium balanced sweet finish. Love it!
1.5hr into the dinner, green tea nose was obvious with lesser hint but yet balanced fruit note. By the time dinner finished, the nose evolved again into a balanced, caramel, vanilla with array of dried spices. Palate and finish is very structured, full bodied without being over the top. Understand why it is rated 98pts. -

August 21, 2020 - This is a great bottle of wine and there is no need to store this wine for the next 10 years. The wine is ready to be drunk today, on this particularly cold Saturday afternoon in Sydney.
It is a very smooth Syrah/ Shiraz wine that is medium body, has a long finish, and fruit forward.
