August 16, 2023 - Superb. midweight, subtle but distinctive and long.

December 31, 2022 - deep aromas of dark fruit, strawberry, licorice, maplewood after being opened. raisin, fig, dark cherry, floral notes on the palate. Structured, great acidity and strong tannin. I find the nose in the glass almost addictive. Alcohol is high and finish is nice and sort of unravels from the fruit to the floral, with subtleties of menthol, bark, peppercorn, tobacco and leather developing. Really into it. One of my favorite Barolos so far, 93 with 94-96 potential. Another one in cellar for the 2030s.
