October 8, 2022 - Nose of dark red berries and black currants with dried earth, soft bitterness and flowers.
Flavors of dark red fruits with a bit of blue fruits that brightens all fruits a bit. Some dark green stems, oak and bitter minerals straight from the bottle but fades with time. After some air time, there are notes of bitter earth, clay, tar and both shiny and dull river minerals.
Took a while to open up (there was a weighted dullness that took a while to shake off), so do decant for around 1-2 hours before really digging in. Good acidity that keeps things in balance, not the type of wine that is in your face. Enjoy now with a decant or give it around 2-4 years in the cellar to allow it to develop some.1 person found this helpful Comment -

September 2, 2022 - Blue fruit, clay, mineral, and well rounded. Medium body but complex. Good acid, really makes my mouth water. Decanted for 2 hours.
