January 16, 2014 - No change at all from previous taster. Must have been a hot dry summer in the Pinnacles.

June 29, 2011 - Overripe, stewed sugar plums and wild berry have enough acidity to maintain this
wine's integrity and balance without being sappy or mushy. Warm jam compote
nose, with with some brown edging to the ruby red color. Admittedly it's better
after dinner with it's port-like resemblence, but works on it's own as well. I would
drink now through the end of the year.

December 11, 2010 - I was apparently not meant to keep this one as long as I did - plastic cork closure. The wine was browned with a nose of tawny port. Not unpleasant, but not very pinot like. The mouth feel was plush and smooth. Would probably have been better a few years after release.

September 30, 2010 - Dark and luxurious in color with a tempting opening nose of fresh earth, spruce and blueberry
pie. With poised balance and fine structure, this decadant Pinot got right down business strutting
it's ripe, sweet black cherry, sugar plum, huckleberry and cinnamon stick, with a touch of baking
spice in the back drop. Consistancy somewhat resembling a fine port, this rich red also added
chocolate cherries to it's repertoire of nuances as it glides into a soft, plush finish accented by
smashed Oregon blueberries. I'm a big fan of this type of aged Pinot, it hits the sweet spot
    on the bat.
