  May 13, 2022 - WSET practice night with Bas (en Lennart) (Zeist): [Tasted blind] Deep purple, medium+ intensity with blackberry, kirsch, chocolate, coffee, black plum, licorice, herbs, vanilla. Medium+ acidity, high tannins (and not integrated), high alcohol, full bodied, medium- finish. Not my type of wine and I hesitate if it will improve with age

  May 27, 2021 - Medium nose of cherry with hints of green herbs.
  initially Notes of leather, blond tobacco, and animal.
  Later, after decanting, these notes despairing, leaving the herb and red fruit.
  Medium length.

  March 9, 2021 - A dark colour; the wine itself is dark-fruited and slightly smoky; lively, juicy fruit, initially quite impressive but lacking follow-through; this no doubt benefited from its two hour decant, and may improve in bottle over the next year or two.

  February 7, 2021 - Needed a good few hours to really open up and still drinking Ok the next day. Lots of spice initially and quite peppery. Balanced with a mouthful of dark plum, mulberries and blackberries. Plush tannins.
  
  Great midweek quaffer. Agree with a previous reviewer that this would go down a treat at a casual weekend BBQ. Would buy more at this price. Wouldn't hold this for more than another 3 years.
