January 7, 2012 - Drink these up very quickly. Drinks nicely for the first half an hour but after that it tastes oxidised.

August 7, 2007 - I must be geting old because I opened this wine thinking I wanted to try it. Not untill I started to write this did I realize I had one already. the first thing that strikes me is how dark purple this is. it has a smoky woody nose with strawberry, earth, and truffle. it was a little thin at first but is puting on weight. strong fruity attack followed by an acidic backbone and a sour cherry finish.

July 6, 2007 - deep purple color. smoky grilled lamb, blackberry and earth on the nose. a powerful attack of fruit- blackberry and blueberry before the midpalate of spice and acid hits only to be pushed back for a medium long finish of fruit. this is such a good fruity barbera that unlike most, it is a pleasure to drink without food. this is my first Barbera from Azelia, and all I can say is wow.
