January 7, 2024 - Gave it an hour of aeration. Main fruit is red currant with some raspberry added, acidity and tannins are good and balanced, so that it has enough grip to be a good wine for the right food. Body is actually on the lighter side.
I chose it as a companion to a veal entrecôte with a cream sauce based on green pepper and mushrooms.
Normally I would choose a chardonnay for this meal, but I‘m more into red wines at the moment, but to be honest normally not into Pinot Noir. But I categorised the meal as nearly burgundy, so I gave this bottle a chance. And from this point of view and in combination with that food it worked very well for me. But I wouldn’t drink it solo to be honest. I think it needs a fitting context to work out and in my opinion this context should be as light as the wine‘s body. -

December 8, 2023 - I found it much better now. I guess it needed a little cellaring. Nice red pinot fruits, well balanced with some concentration and freshness.
