    January 6, 2024 - Violets so apparent in the early nose. Absolutely lovely texture and integration of oak. You can tell some of the flavors come from the oak, but it's not sweet or exceptionally spicy. Something in the fruit affects the oak as much as the oak affects the wine. Guess that's why Grands Crus are Grands Crus. Looking forward to more evolved pleasures as my remaining bottles age.
