Cherry, oak and fresh-cut herbs flood the palate for a sleek, silky texture that leads to a lengthy, powerful finish. Predominantly made from Cabernet Sauvignon, this red is combined with just enough Merlot to mellow the blend. The resulting wine spent time in both new and old French and American oak for a beautifully balanced wine. This wine won a bronze medal at the 2007 San Francisco International Wine Competition and a silver, highly recommended at the 2007 World Wine Championships

  September 9, 2008 - Nice wine with some interesting notes on the nose. We noticed eucalyptus dark cherries and vanilla. The taste was restrained and pretty well structured.
