    March 7, 2024 - 26 months nfo. 3 Hunter Valley colnes

    Smoke and mineral black nose

Smooth high acidity, touch of earthiness, restrained black fruit. Long black finish

January 1, 2020 - Jet-black-blackberry and blackcurrant, cracked black pepper, menthol, floral purple plums and dark cherries. Lovely ultra-dark fruit. The palate begins full and silky smooth, dark inky flavours, but the tannins then build to . Quite savoury, not jammy or sweet-fruited. With age, would the savoury character win out or would it turn sweet?
