April 21, 2019 - Drank with slow roasted lamb...complimented it well. Remarkably fresh for a 14yr old NZ wine. Very dark red for a Pinot. Dark fruits on the nose almost Syrah like. Nice texture but a touch too crisp initially...

October 9, 2018 - The nose was very strange which led most of us to conclude it was cooked. The palate however was not bad with nice texture and decent length.

April 29, 2015 - Mid Burgundy color with some slight brown hues.
High toned nose of macerated cherries, lillies and brown spices.
Sweet fruited - red and black cherries with crisp red apple skin. Good tension between the fruit and structure. Maybe even a little crisp and for the expectations of this wine, but I really like what's going on here.
