April 7, 2023 - Nose of oak and overall very pleasant. Finish was lacking in length and depth.

March 18, 2023 - Drank last week in Vail so writing this note from memory. Generous floral aromas on the nose. Fairly ripe red cherry fruit on the medium palate. Some wood is evident, and some spice. Straightforward and not particularly sophisticated, but enjoyable enough.

March 13, 2020 - Bouchard 2018 Tasting (Waterford Wine Co. - Milwaukee WI): Stand up tasting. Ripe red cherry with floral and spice notes. Also on the fat side for right now, but enough textural charm for Volnay to come through clearly. Very good potential, 2026 forward. 90-91 point potential.
