October 29, 2021 - Friday at the strand (Strand Cellars, Croydon): A little sour smelling initially, red fruit, wild raspberry, a little cranberry but this seems to 'ripen' with time in the glass. Beneath this alcohol, spice is peppery, a little cedar. Savoury, slightly sour, red and black fruit, fruit tea, a bit of a tannic burr across the mid palate. Meh.
