  January 26, 2024 - Nebbiolo 1999-2009 at Gemma. My bottle. Drank in Conterno Sensory.
  Appearance is clear (sediment at end of bottle only), pale intensity, garnet colour. Legs.
  Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of tertiary earth, dark red cherries, austere dark minerality. Developed.
  On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), integrating high tannins, just about full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of dark red cherries, tertiary earth, tarriness, mysterious dark minerality, savoury umami slight soy notes. Medium+ finish.
  Very good quality. Good time to drink up.

  January 8, 2016 - At a restaurant, then retasted the day after at home.
  Dimmed down garnet red, with bricking rims.
  Expressive, evolved, cherries in alcohol, undergrowth, sweet tobacco. Cloves and peat. Seducing and delicious.
  Perfectly mature and seamless on the palate, sweet tannins, perfectly tuned acidity. Lovely and classy.

  January 22, 2014 - Perfect to drink now. Not as tannic as is used to be, it retains all the minerality and freshness on the nose, and is very silky on the palate. Averall a great bottle of wine
