July 2, 2019 - Pop and pour, consumed over 2 hours. Nose: Medium expressiveness, blackberry and spice with undertones of mushrooms and dark earth. Palate: Medium-full bodied, earthy and spicy dark fruit attack, forest floor and mushrooms join the flavor profile in the mid-palate, back-end shows a nice spice driven lift. Finish: Medium-plus length dominated by ripe dark fruit, spice, mushrooms and forest floor. This is drinking wonderfully at the moment, definitely peaked but has aged spectacularly.

October 25, 2013 - Smooth raspberry and blackberry flavors with a touch of oak and spice. Very easy to drink, but lacking complexity overall. Sligohtly past prime.

April 18, 2012 - Solid mountain Cabernet, big and bold, with concentrated dark fruit, vanilla oak, good balance and a nice medium finish. May gain complexity with some more time. I generally love this vineyard, but this was not the best example of what it can be.

August 2, 2008 - Typical deep dark Howell Mountain cabernet. Lots of dark fruits and vanilla (oak).

July 22, 2007 - Decent amount of acidity. Fruit and oak are balanced, but not I'm not impressed by it...especially at this price point.
